Ritornello collects nothing. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier and no third-party SDK in the app. It makes no network requests of its own, because it contains no networking code.
The short version. Your songs, the files you attach and everything you type stay on your device. I cannot see them. Nobody can see them. There is no account to create and no server to send anything to.
All of it lives in your app's own storage and in a backup folder the app maintains for itself. It is included in your device backup if you back your device up, which is between you and Apple. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Only what you export, and only where you send it. When you tap Chart, MIDI, MusicXML, Save the map or Save a copy, the app writes a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet — then you choose where it goes. The app is not involved in that choice and does not record it.
The one other outbound action is a link to songdeed.com, which you have to tap. It opens your browser and carries nothing about you or your work.
In App Store terms, Ritornello's privacy label is Data Not Collected. Not "collected but not linked to you" — none.
The app is suitable for all ages and there is nothing to collect, so there is nothing to say about children's data beyond that. No content is user-generated and nothing is shared with anyone.
If a future version ever needed to send anything anywhere, that would be a change to this page and to the App Store privacy label before it was a change to the app — and it would be optional and explained. I have no plans for it.
